What is Organized Play? This is the process in which we help the local game stores and communities host Genesis events, get prize support, and sometimes even offer exclusive rewards for special events.
Why do we have Organized Play? Organized Play is an essential part of the experience of a competitive hobby game like Genesis. It creates central events, like weekly games at your local game store, that bring the community together. When we get together to play our favorite games, that’s when friendships are formed and we can celebrate the game we all love.
Who should participate in Organized Play? Anyone who loves Genesis! Players should come out and compete, even if they are just learning the game because this will be the best way to learn, get better, and meet friends. Stores should host events because this will help bring your community together and will help you become the place to be for Genesis in your community.
How do I register and start hosting events? You are in the right place to find out!
We want to reward players for playing Genesis on a regular basis. Stores that register to be a part of our Organized Play program will enjoy some exciting benefits, including a supply of promo packs to give away to players who play in Genesis events at your store (roughly 8 promo packs per week) which will contain exclusive alternate art versions of our cards that cannot be found outside of the OP program.

Prize Structure
Organized Play packs (OP1)
These are packs with 5 cards in each pack. We recommend rewarding your top performers each week, while also reserving a few promo packs to be awarded to random players so that everyone has an opportunity to get their hands on some exciting promotional cards, regardless of skill level.
SURPLUS AND SELLING PROMOS AND KITS
Unless otherwise stated, you are free to use any surplus Organized Play packs as additional prizing for future events.
However, stores and judges are not allowed to sell sealed Organized Play kits and packs, nor are they allowed to open kits and packs and immediately sell the contents. The contents of the kits and packs are meant to be given as gifts to participants in an event.

ENFORCING MAP (MINIMUM ADVERTISED PRICE)
To be fair to all partner stores, we will be enforcing our MAP for sealed Genesis: Battle of Champions products. We will find ways to do random spot checks on each store, including checking your online stores. If we find that you are selling your product below MAP, we will suspend all support for your store for Organized Play.
Note: A store may lose all prize support if we find them violate our code of conduct or sell products below MAP.
